Students will learn to refine their rehearsal and performance skills and develop inner constructs that build confidence and awareness through a variety of vocal & physical techniques, and theatre exercises. Students will explore scenes and monologues, character studies, and script work through a variety of styles such as improv and comic timing, while experimenting with breath work designed to help connect with and access a range of emotions used for character development in a playful, supportive and team-based environment.
In addition to our fall showcase performance event, students who are registered in the fall term Theatre II classes will be considered for lead roles in our spring musical theatre production. Students registering for the spring term only will join the ensemble and be considered for smaller roles which may include vocal solo parts when appropriate.
Fridays, 3:30 – 5:00 pm
