Membership
Anyone can become a member of Amber Academy Youth Fine Arts Society!
Families that purchase an “Individual” or “Group” membership can register their children in our arts-based after-school youth empowerment program. There are no monthly fees to attend classes, but please see below for information about fundraising deposits (registration fees) for students. Once we have received your membership application/renewal and your membership fee payment, instructions for registering students will be sent to you via email.
Individuals interested in supporting the society and helping low-income families access our program can join as a “Patron” member.
Membership Fees Are:
- $25/year – Patron Membership
- $50/year – Individual Membership (families with only ONE child to register for classes)
- $75/year – Group Membership (families with only TWO OR MORE children to register for classes)
All memberships expire on June 30 of the year purchased. Fees are not pro-rated.
Note: a fundraising deposit (registration fee) will be required with student registration each term for families with children participating in the program. Families that meet their fundraising targets of $200/Individual Member or $250/Group Member for the Fall Term (Sep-Dec), and $250/Individual Member or $300/Group Member for the Spring Term (Jan-Jun) will have their deposits returned to them at the end of each term.
Membership Benefits (“Individual” and “Group” Members):
- Unlimited registration in any classes available for your child’s age. All materials and supplies are provided and healthy after-school snacks are included!
*Patron Member fees are allocated to our Student Bursary Program which benefits families with limited financial resources whose children might not otherwise be able to participate in Amber Academy.
