This class will begin with exploring fabric types and construction methods and familiarizing students with sewing techniques. Each student will create a simple project of their own choice to be featured in a fashion show segment of the Academy’s showcase performance at the end of the fall term. In the spring term, students will work on costume construction and design using a variety of materials and techniques to help create costumes and pieces for the Academy’s spring musical theatre production.
