Acting II – Intermediate Acting

(Grades 3-5)

Students will learn to refine their rehearsal and performance skills and develop inner constructs that build confidence and awareness through a variety of vocal & physical techniques, and theatre exercises. Students will explore scenes and monologues, character studies, and script work through a variety of styles such as improv and comic timing, while experimenting with breath work designed to help connect with and access a range of emotions used for character development in a playful, supportive and team-based environment.

Students will perform in a showcase event at the end of the fall and spring terms. Students registered in the fall term program may also audition for lead roles in our spring musical theatre production.

Fridays, 3:30 – 5:00 pm
